Preheat oven to 425

Slice off top step of figs and cut an x across the top - careful not to cut all the way through

Stuff approximately 1/8 teaspoon (more or less according to taste) into opening of each fig

Wrap bacon around outside of the fig and secure with a study toothpick

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil

Transfer the bacon wrapped stuffed figs to baking sheet and bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes, until bacon is on the crispy side and cheese is melted
