Strawberry Lime Frozen Margarita

Strawberry Lime Frozen Margarita

I think Mondays deserve booze.

Strawberry Lime Frozen Margarita

I find it hard to believe that I’m alone with this opinion.  Who’s with me?  Strawberry Lime Frozen Margaritas for breakfast, anyone?  No judgments here.

Strawberry Lime Frozen Margarita

It’s the week of Cinco de Mayo and while I’ve shared Mexican Street Corn and Shrimp Tacos with Avocado Salsa, life just isn’t complete until we’ve had a few cocktails.  I’m up to my eyeballs over here in strawberries, so I decided that when life gives you strawberries, Strawberry Lime Frozen Margaritas are the way to go.

And I’m totally not joking about the amount of strawberries I have.  I planted one tiny little strawberry plant last year in my garden and now it’s taken over one of my raised beds. I have so many that I even stopped fighting the birds for them!  Needless to say, I have a lot of strawberry posts in the pipeline.  I hope y’all like strawberries!

Strawberry Lime Frozen Margarita

I’m keeping things short today.  Because….tequila and Game of Thrones.  ‘Nuff said.

Have a great week, y’all!

Mondays definitely call for booze, especially when it involves frozen margaritas! Wishing I had this for breakfast today! Love the pretty color and the fact that it’s perfect for Cinco de Mayo!

Tequila + Game of Thrones sounds like the best partnership ever! We’ve been doing Game of Thrones + Game of Thrones beers from Ommegang…but this margarita might need to show up for the next episode. Speaking of strawberries, we tried planting them up here. They grew well…just like yours. But the chipmunks. We couldn’t stop the chipmunks. They chewed through wire fencing (not kidding) to get to the green strawberries. Needless to say, we stopped growing strawberries. But the store has plenty and more to make these ‘ritas!

I like your thinking, girl! Margaritas on Monday? Sure! Sounds awesome to me 🙂 These margaritas with strawberry and lime look delicious. And bring on the strawberry recipes…berries are totally good for ya, right? I’m totally assuming they are even in beverage format, lol. Pinned!

Mondays definitely REQUIRE booze! My hand is raised and I’m virtually giving your fist bumps on that one, Rach! I’m jealous you are up to your eye balls in strawberries! You need to send me some girlfriend!! I would totally be making these fabulous frozen margaritas on the regular if I had strawberries in my back yard! Loving the strawberry lime combo, and anything frozen with booze rocks my world. Thinking I’m going to start the Cinco de Mayo celebration early with a few of these beauties. Pinned! Cheers, chicka!

I think every day requires booze…
Really like this margarita recipe because it’s great for breakfast. Fresh strawberries for nutrients and vitamins, the lime for detoxing benefits, and tequila for…well for tequila. Happy Cinco de Mayo, my friend 🙂

I am so envious of your strawberry plant! The deer came in last year under the cover of darkness and that was pretty much it. Like a school of piranha. ????
Nothing satisfies like a frozen margarita. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. And lime in drinks like this puts me instantly in a happy place.

Girl…. I’m totally with you! In fact I was boozing it up in the kitchen yesterday while I was cooking (no judgement there) 😛 Unfortunately I didn’t see this recipe until today, I would have much preferred to have this awesome margarita! This is definitely going on the Cinco de Mayo menu this week!

Frozen margaritas are my favorite. Love that you added fresh strawberries! Yum!!! These might be a bit dangerous though…things that taste so yummy go down way too fast! 🙂
